It was invaluable! The assessment and report helped us to gain a comprehensive understanding of exactly where our son was developmentally. The subsequent intervention helped us develop many invaluable skills and strategies to use with our child which have made a significant difference to how we approach his communication needs and his emotional regulation. It was particularly useful having the face-to-face sessions with Amy so that she could model the different strategies with our child to show us what they looked like in practise. We came to Amy for our child's speech and language needs but have finished the intervention with not only a huge improvement in his speech and language but also his co-regulation, which is starting to lead to him self-regulating. Our son is so much happier now because we understand him so much better and because we are able to work together proactively with him to help him to regulate when he needs our help. Special time is something we continue to do daily and I can see it being part of our daily parenting for years to come.​
